This Privacy Policy explains how Boreless ("we", "us", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping the app simple, safe, and offline-first.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Boreless does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Your gameplay and high scores are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
2. Information Collected Automatically
To keep the app free and to improve reliability, we and our third-party partners may collect limited technical information automatically, such as:
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Anonymous usage and diagnostic data (for example, crash reports and performance metrics)
- Advertising identifiers used to serve and measure ads
This information is used to fix bugs, understand aggregate usage, and support the app. It is not used to personally identify you.
3. Advertising
Boreless may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device and advertising identifiers to serve ads, including personalized ads where permitted. On iOS, personalized advertising depends on your App Tracking Transparency choice — if you do not grant permission, ads will be non-personalized.
You can learn more about how Google uses data in its advertising products here: Google Privacy & Terms.
4. Analytics
We may use Google Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated analytics and crash reports that help us improve stability and performance. This data does not identify you personally.
5. Children's Privacy
Boreless is suitable for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Limited technical data may be processed by our service providers (such as Google) solely to operate advertising, analytics, and crash reporting on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies.
7. Data Retention & Your Choices
Locally stored data (such as high scores and settings) remains on your device and is removed when you delete the app. You can limit ad tracking at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
